Sofia Hotel is situated just off Nikiana village, in “Sotiros” area, on the 10km mark of the provincial road connecting the City of Lefkada to Nidri.
The port of Nidri is situated on the 5km mark of the same road (see the map of the island).
The nearest airport (Preveza/Aktio) is at a distance of only 29km.
Lefkada Marina is very-well organized and is situated at a distance of 10km. Nikiana port is just 1km away.

During your stay at Lefkada island, you shouldn't miss the following:
From Nidri port, take the ferry that connects the neighboring islands of Ithaca and Cefallonia and don't forget to visit magnificent Meganissi.
Again from Nidri port, various 1-day cruises take you to Prigkiponissia islands (Skorpios, well-known in relation to the Onassis family; Mathouri, related to the Greek writer A. Valaoritis; Skorpidi; Sparti) as well as to the famous “Porto-Katsiki” beach.

Beaches of Lefkada
At a close distance you get the local Nikiana beach (1km) and “Passa” beach (2km), where the children summer camp is. The island's typical pebbles are found everywhere. On all beaches expect a surrounding of pine trees and crystal-clear waters.
The renowned Nikiana village family tavernas are an option you can't refuse: they offer a variety of reasonably priced high-quality dishes that will satisfy all tastes. Two of the island's best are situated just 50m from our hotel (one on the right and one on the left of the hotel).
On the village center, there are many super-market stores and various other shops to suit your needs.
